dang man, i wish the foreign language education around the sates was as good, even in a private setting besides the fact of just being hard to find its expensive. i have a large list of languages i would love to learn and most of them i know less than 6 words in.
there seems to be a huge boom of 30 year olds accomplishing a lot, my brother is now working for his own design company and playing in a rock band that is on the verge of breaking it big (and really heading to wards it not just chilling at that level)
hmmm wow we are wayyyy off topic lol

How did you get the SC feed to stay on like that? I've been looking to do that for my pistol!Originally posted by flyingpootangMendel, I own 2 Sydarms, a PGP, Warsensor WSP, & a SC feed mag. I mainly use these for in between games with friends where everyone use either a pump or pistol. Both of my Sydarms are set up for constant air, but ca be converted back to a 12g Co2 quickly. I can usally get 12-15 shoots of a 12g with the Sydarm and 10-12 off of the SC feed mag. Freezing is not an issue because of the limited amount of rounds you have. The Sydarms are more difficult to load and to change the 12gs out. As for cost you can build a SC feed like the one pictured below for @ 200-250. It uses a 12G adapter (18.00) , ASA (15.00) , mini dovetail (10.00), 32 degrees 45 frame (20.00) classic mag valve 35.00, ULE body (90.00) sear (10.00), rail (25.00) & phantom SC feed (30.00). All these items are available on ebay, CCI, Wevo, Whitewolf), or the classified ads. All in all on a regular field you will be out gunned, but against pumps or other pistol the fun factor is off the scale
....Richard

Also, since this is a pistol thread, here's a few more I've collected from other Maggots.
My work in progress:

AutomaggerIX's piece:

mr.doodoo's pistol (what made me want to make a pistol):

Last, a Frankenpistol from noxx55:

if i were you mpsd, i'd definitely get one. i mean, my pistol mag isnt as pistoly as a Sydarm (thanks for the reference Whee), but i would love it to be like it; there are many reasons that make it non-pistoly. if you have the money for one, i'd say go for it

[QUOTE=Whee McGee]How did you get the SC feed to stay on like that? I've been looking to do that for my pistol!
It's held on with Bubble Gum and Double sided sticky tape
. There is a 8/32 screw tapped into the body just forward of the feedneck hole. If you need pics or meassurements let me know...

Thanks for your input. I loved Whee's pistol, with the UMF. It's really beautifull. I think I may do something more on these lines, changing the horizontal 12 gram changer for my 13ci air tank (12 grams are really expensive here in Brazil, almost prohibitive at US$ 5.00 each!).if i were you mpsd, i'd definitely get one. i mean, my pistol mag isnt as pistoly as a Sydarm (thanks for the reference Whee), but i would love it to be like it; there are many reasons that make it non-pistoly. if you have the money for one, i'd say go for it
In fact, I just bought a UMF and one of Jay's micromag clone bodies. I'm thinking of assembling it all with the original Micromag barrel I bought on eBay this week and have a small profile, almost pistol, Mag. That will probably give me what I'm looking for (a REALLY compact and fast Mag).

Please send those to me when you can, I'd really appreciate it.
In that case, I think you should forgo the horizontal and play Hawaiian style, with your 13 mounted forward on the UMF. Should balance it out and make it look REALLY nice. Thanks for the compliment on my pistol. It's still not done yet, though.Originally posted by mpsdThanks for your input. I loved Whee's pistol, with the UMF. It's really beautiful. That's nice... Did you have to mod the CCI horizontal feed-gate too? And is the bolt (screw) the original CCI or is it a moded (shorter or longer) version?Originally posted by flyingpootangHere are some pics if anyone is intereested.Last edited by mpsd; 02-22-2008, 07:52 PM.

The feedtube has not been modded and the screw length is a little longer. In the last pic you can see how the 8/32 tapped hole looks like. Once you screw down the feed it's easy to see how far the screw will protrude into the body. The screw that is used holds a good 5-6 threads on the ULE body, so mounting the feed to the body will be vary sturdy....
