what kind of valve do you have?
what kind of tank do you have?
    adjustable or preset?
what is the input pressure going into the gun? (atleast 800psi)
did you oil your on/off assembly?

ult chuffs every time i pull the trigger

dont whine at me. yes this is a double post. i thought i was posting in Paintball Talk but i did it in the Tech Forum by mistake. i get more answers in Paintball Talk. so anyway, everytime i wait a minute to pull the trigger it chuffs and then it works the next time i shoot. its annoying. ill be aiming at something, pull the trigger and all i hear is a little chuff and i have to shoot again and it works. whats with this? i have 7 shims in my ult.

i am guessing your mag is new? after playing with it a few times it will develop a slow leak down the barrel. at first you wont notice it at all, but the pressure will slowly go down and it will chuff. this is because the power tube o-ring is breaking in. change the carrier to one I.D. smaller (cant remember if its up or down) and it will go away.

and btw, click edit on your other post to delete the thread.

Your LX probably isnt set up right. What spring are you using? If you're using the long spring try the medium spring.
Or you may need more shims in the ULT, I cant tell.

ive had my gun for about 2 months. its a rt ule custom with x valve, level 10, ule mainbody, ult. i have 7 shims in the ult. 2 in the level 10. i know how to take it part good. i figured evrything out, simple. i have a nitroduck steel tank, 800 psi. i just bought an apoc2k but it hasnt come yet. i think that the tank will make a big difference but i still think this is flaky. so any sugestions? thanks for helping.

on every single lvl10 ive personally setup(5 different markers) ive only used the short spring so that there is a slight increase in efficiency, as well as not having to worry about the bolt not having enough force to go against the spring. granted, this setup may be a little harder on the balls, but ive only broken 1 ball in any of my markers that i set up(3 different markers).

    heres my suggestion:
if using a on/off asa, make sure not to screw it in too far, this will cause the tank not o output enough pressure
    oil, and lots of it
make sure detent isnt in too far
