    Velocity of paintball thought

I was just watching Topgear Season 9 Episode 4 and they were testing a mercedes at 180 mph and still accelerating and the host was saying to imagine going at 320 feet per second (cause the car was goingt that fast)

Just a thought, how clutch would it bee to see a dozen paintball travel next to you going that fast on a track just in like suspended animation and you could watch the paintball spin and drive faster than the paintballs, although they wouldn;t travel very far but it was a thought

okay enough being a dork for today

Since they wouldn't travel very far before they start to slow down, you could shoot the paintball in front of the car and then pass it...

And it's Top Gear! Clarkson and gang wouldn't know the difference between 320fps and a pink elephant wearing sunglasses being worshipped.

i've always wondered what would happen if you were traveling on a train that somehow went the speed of a bullet.. if a bullet was flying next to the train at the same speed.. could you reach out the window and just grab it? (I know your arm would prolly get ripped off by the force of the air resistance from going that fast.. but still>>)

It would feel the same as being shot by a kid running 5 MPH.

So if a car goes 200 mph BACKWARDS and the velocity of the paintball reaches 200 mph leaving the barrel in the opposite(Forward) direction... it doesn;t move at all?

oh oh i want to playu ...since were just saying and neglecting some basic facts that would make some of these impossible ... without the ball breaking ...

so shooting the same direction you are traveling ... the ball is moving that fast + the added fps from the marker???... that would be one heck of a cherry ...

and shooting opposite direction ... seems like it would stay in the same spot in relation to the ground. if and only if the speed of the moving vehicle and the speed of the ball were the exact same ... would the ball just drop straight down from the point of exiting the barrel ...
