03 Viking with robtown valve installed

This is a general Paintball Forum right?

    http://www.darksidevideo.org/video/0...ef015bc62b.htm

So some of us AKA owners finally had something new come out called the robtown valve that takes the kick literally out of a viking/excal. Its really exciting and smooth!

On my '03 I have Tadao board, DC volumizer, SCM3, Froth Trigger, 2 Liter +, Custom body milled 1 of 1.

    Enjoy!

Nice. I'm really liking the Vents masks more and more every time I see them, I just wish they were soft so you could get bounces like on a Flex.

Nice Viking though. I still want one of those too.

    Hey Fullofpaint!
Yep that was me at XtrmePB.
Sorry I wasn't able to play this week while I am home from college, but good luck at your 7 man woods in April, Kick butt!

(They don't have the 03 valves on the website but they have them, the number MiniSpdRcr gave is right) Valves are the same as 04 vikings, It's the lighter ramshaft thats different.

So witht he lighter ram shaft, did you have to up the dwell time on teh gun to get your velosity back up?

Down the dwell 10 to 9, and actually mine needed to change to a stronger spring.

Before install my velocity was at 240, after install it was 300, and it was lowered by adj the 2 liter to 280.

Ahh... Now that makes more sense. I read "Vikings" and "kick" in the same sentence and was like, "that can't be right".

Im pretty sure the price for the valve plus install was aroun $120. I still need to send my gun in to have mine installed. Acid didnt notice i had sent payment for some stuff so i have to wait till i get that before i can send it in.

    hey all
I didnt even think to post the info in AO ....i forgot how many of us shoot aka guns here.
The 03 are available now . call Destructive customs.
The light weight internals and new valve for the excals are getting tested now and should be released very soon.
it will be a small run of about 25....so if you wantone please let D.C. know.
I know alot of people think these guns have little to no kick but we have found a way to make alot better.....alot.
    thanks

oh ya, if you think a viking didnt have any kick before.......wait till you shoot one w/ the robtown valve. Its amazing.

And those are my pics on the top. Etjoyride shot my viking last weekend. Too bad right after I install the valve, I decide to quit and sell all my gear.

So the valves are available for 04's as well I take it?

If I can get all my markers sold I plan to send the viking in for the full treatment at DC and that valve would be a nice addition.
