That setup looks very sweet Xero, it's nice to see it actually installed in a marker!

Zap, is there enough meat on these that I can file off some of the sides, or do I need to do all the modifications on my frame?
curious to hear about that one since I am planning on installing it in a chimera too

Depends on how wide it is. I would not shave the cheater down less than .495" wide. You should accurately measure the frame before going too far.

I am a total noob on pnuemags. I have a standard tac one with the intelliframe. I read on the thread that the rt on/off is better to use, I have the ult on/off, can I use that or do I need to swap it out? Also what lpr would you recommend that can fit inside an intelliframe to make it a sleeper? hopefully with no drilling or milling. =)

I think he plans to do a couple of more runs between now and the end of the year. I'm sure we will all get our shot at one soon.

As Im sure you realize, I havent made Chimeras in over 2 years. So designing it for the cheater couldnt have been considered with its recent release.

During 2009, Ive been working on re-releasing the Chimera with some added features along with bringing my prices down by streamlining the product line. The new Chimeras and its features have been discussed here:

Hope that gives you some info you are looking for.

And for those who want to know...

The most you are talking about is .014", the minimum .001. That means at most youd have to remove .007" per side, the minimum .0005" per side.

Either of those could easily be removed with sandpaper. To put it in perspective 1/64 of an inch is .0156. So the amount youd need to remove from each side is very very minimal.

    Hope that helps!

    Got it today!

Installed it in my chimera in less than 3mn. I have no idea why someone was having issue as mine was flush in.

Only little thing is that chimera grips have different holes but mine was threaded for pneu anyway so it was a piece of cake.

Man does this make the trigger sweet! Finally a mech feeling like an electro!

    Congrats Zap!

Just an FYI...the cheater does not fit in a Y-frame. I wanted it to but it will require milling and you will see the brass from the out side because the cheater is a wider width than the top front cut on the Y. Just a heads up...I will try to sanp some pics and maybe get some vid of mine but I suck at walking the trigger. Hang 10 and I'll see what I can come up with.

Sorry for the late update. My wife had some surgery and my mind hasn't been on the internet. It was supposed to be an easy operation but there were some problems so her recovery has not been as easy as expected.

Rest easy knowing I have been working like a madman in the background! I decided to run all the internal parts at once and I'm almost done. Should be starting assembly in the next couple days. I was originally going to run internals a few at a time and spread out shipping but it will be too slow doing it that way. This way I can just pick parts from boxes and run with it. Still going to come out way ahead of X-mas.

I wanted to wait until I started shipping for an update but I've had a few emails. Don't worry guys, I'm still on it!

    Zap,

I need to add an elbow to my order. Can you add one and let me know if you just want me to Paypal a new payment for $2? Not sure if this will incur additional fees for you.

    let me know.

Zap, I am extremely interested in getting one of these kits for my mag. I am new to the site, so don't have enough posts to PM you yet, but I have money in hand and wanting to pick one up in your next batch. I have an intelliframe w/ the RT Pro and RT on/off so I think I'll be good to go. Please let me know if I can get in on the next order. Thanks
