    thread indentification question

    when air fittings talk a size of 10/32, what thread form are we talking BSW, UNC or UNF. i need to drill and tap some stuff and i dont own a thread pitch gauge.

    any and all help will be appreciated

    My fasteners book is in the shop, but 10-32 is 10-32 as far as paintball tolerances are concerned. Whatever your hardware store carries for 10-32 drill & tap or die should be more than sufficient unless you have a very special application in mind.

    actually had a look and BSW and UNC share the TPI in 10-32 and the thread pitch difference is only 5°. so your advice is accurate i guess i should have thought harder on my problem
