    Question "Go Retro" question

This may have been asked before, but I don't feel like searching the threads--so to anyone who helps me out, thanks!

When I send in my stock valve to AGD for the Retro upgrade, what all do I need to send with it? Bolt & spring, or just the valve itself?

Just the valve. Enjoy the RT Valve, you will love your gun for it and have a never ending smile on your face! =)

Thanks for the info gibby! I am looking forward to the RT valve. I've had my Minimag for 4 1/2 years now and I have done next to darn near nothing as far as upgrades go. I have a HP tank and a barrel and that's it. I'm slow to get started, but it's treated me well thus far, so...

I noticed that your location is L.A.--ROCK ON MY SOCAL BRO!

I might add that you will want to remove the fittings from the side of your valve before you send it in. Also, if you have a powertube spacer kit, put the spacer that came with the gun back in it, otherwise you'll lose whichever spacer is in the valve.

heh. I spoke from experience (forgot to change the spacer). The RT kit comes with four spacers though, but I havn't checked to see if it has the one I lost. I just know that it wasn't the one that comes stock on the gun.

Well, I hope it's the correct spacer.

The valve is just the part that screws off the back and has the stars right?

The valve has two parts. The part with the stars engraved on it, and the forward part with the powertube, that the bolt slides over. If you are doing the go retro, you remove the entire valve from the body, remove the fittings (elbows, gas lines, etc.) then remove the bolt and bolt spring, and if you have a spacer kit, put the stock spacer back into the gun.

Can someone send me some info on the go retro program, I was airguns site and didn't see anything about the program and was Intrested in it.

do you have to have the stock valve with the serial #s on it when you send it in? The reason I ask is I only have the hurricane valve that was on it when I bought it used.

I called to get the details It costs $200.00 plus your old valve for anyone who is intrested.
