this will be my thread for projects that I am currently working on only,
if anyone has a part or a file they would like for me to look at or make, I will be open to that, just PM with questions.
I will update thread when printer is up and running.
*******reminder to put up current print shop pic,(if I don't remember someone remind me )

I was thinking if there is a dye dam clip setup that would work for the automag, maybe it can be made to work, or 3D print a modified version of those clips,
as you can see in one of the pics I have plenty of clips to spec from
How about experimenting with a set of pico shells
I'm sure it's on his list
if I do make them I will need to make them worth my time.
when is LL?
thanks for the dates,
come to find out the pico print will be on hold,
for some reason they sent me an awesomely warped print bed,
im going to ask them in they can give me the specs for the holes in the bed and ill send a request to a machinist here, if they have the time to make me a billet aluminum bed,
since the ones they use are punched/cut aluminum, this way I know we are set, problem is I don't know how the heating element for my bed is attached.
so big prints are kinda funky right now.
bummer, I know how that can go
printing one half of a pico shell now.
I got a glass top for my print bed, its too thick so ill get new beds sometime soon.
still need some fine tuning for the printer, but wont know where the tuning needs to be done until pico shell is done tonight.
I really hope I can start producing these.
3D printing as it stands today, in my humble opinion isn't the greatest thing. but that could change tomorrow.
if theres a mistake made is there a way to recycle the print material back into the machine?
after I weigh the cost of making the machine then ill see if its worth me making it or finding someone to recycle my filament that has been used,
I haven't research outside sources yet but it is something I have been wanting to do. someone on youtube made one but it was only making what looked like strips of gum.
so at least I know it can be done just have to lathe up some rollers to for the extrusion into 1.75 mm filament again.
just have to make sure I have enough scrap to make a sizable roll of recycles filament.
How bad was the bed damaged? Mine so far has been doing very good, however I have had no luck at all with the pico hopper. I swear every time I try to print any of the parts, something goes wrong, from power failures to the print coming loose, to computer crashes (which I just replaced). My favorite thing I have built is a pair of plastic tweezers so that I dont damage the kapton covering on the bed.
my stuff is sticking great, the pico is lifted on the bed at the nose, the support material is really no cooperating, but 6 more hours ill have a shell printed.
I made the gear heart for my wife turned out great.
I use and abs acetone mix to coat the bed a little helps stick the projects no problem.
the bed was just a hair warped so I went and got glass. it makes taking prints off easier since I can remove the bed. ill throw up some pick when I get home from class of the pico shell. it should look like a Frankenstein mess.
if you need help I can try to assist with the printer stuff.
* oh and I bought mor filliment, and a 36 yd roll of 8" kapton
Wow knm thought you forgot about me and the adapter.
I have to do some stress tests.
ABS will not do the trick for this if you get too rough.
so im looking to get some delrin/ nylon and see what I can accomplish.
I still need to make 5 more and put them through there paces.
and I need to modify the part some to see if I can get them to have more structure.
enclosure for the 3D printer finally done, printing a high temp loader shell now to see if it splits at all.
wish me luck,
ill post a pick if it went well.
w00t, cant wait
