Where did I see a post about a hard line with macro line fittings?
Where did I see a post about a hard line with macro line fittings?
I took the road least traveled...now where the hell am I ?
the summary:
1) take macroline fitting to auto-parts store.
2) ask to see some 1/4" OD brakeline
3) plug in fitting to brakeline to make sure it fits
4) tell them how much line you want(will need a pipe cutter to cut the line). better to get more than you think, as you will mess up the first time.
5) install onto gun
What Nobody said. Just don't let him do it for you.
Is the brake line that you get at the Auto supply store the correct PSI rating? When I was looking through Grainger IIRC, there was a lot of variation in pressure ratings. The thin walled stuff was only rated at like 580psi whereas the thicker walled line is rated @ 4k+.
