    Classic RT sears

Sooo I have a feeling this is going to be a silly question, but...

Is the Classic RT sear the same as an RTP sear? Same as standard sear? Or am I right out to lunch on everything?

    Thank you.

Same as the rtp sear. The originals for the rt classic had a piece brazed to them where the sear catches the bolt. They were prone to chipping though.

same dimensions, different builds. as mentioned above, the rt classic sear had carbide inserts on the two contact points (one for the on/off pin, and one for the bolt lip), as well as a needle bearing for the sear axle instead of a bushing.

When you say standard sear, are you talking about the ones used in a classic automag? If so those are different.

By standard I meant classic automag, different than RTP. Either way, it takes an RTP sear
