    MiniMag Carbon X Edition

    Here She Is
My goal was to build a mag that looks like it could have come straight from AGD

Thanks to everyone who took the time to design and build these parts.

Beautiful build!!! That turned out amazing. That black polished anodizing is spectacular. I went ahead and added it to the build threads over in the AO Archive.

Its all about the unique rail.

    Thanks!
I have to give credit to Splat15k for the rail idea, his minimag provided a lot of the inspiration.

I ordered a set of custom wrap around sanded carbon grips to match but they didn't quite fit, its a shame they looked silly. I'll post some photos of them at some point.

At one time I was considering having the valve re-lazered, that is why I messed around with the logo. Still have not found anyone that would do it.
What are your guys thoughts? Worth trying to get that valve redone with "Minimag Carbon X" or let it be?

Nice, don't normally go for the carbon fiber look but well done.

If you are adding in the lasering, then its up to you. If you are talking about reanno'ing the valve and putting that name on then, i wouldn't. You have a Emax valve, somewhat uncommon. I forget the difference but if it was a regular X valve, no problems.

Maybe Luke can do a test run of the rails, it is unique.

This was the first rail modded like that, right?

What type, size, thickness, etc of tubing do I need to make hard lines like that?

  29. #29
I picked the the tube and a bender from mcmaster carr and referenced information in the link below. Used CCM fittings for the upper section. In order to work with that sight rail you need the older style ccm fittings that have a longer stem, not sure if they are still available. Pay attention to pressure ratings on all components you plan to use.
