Yeah, I can see that situation making the job go either way ("go away" or "help fix this").

Bummer, anything would be better than the empire state, half of them are already down here voting the same way they did to ruin their state.

Rough! I hope things get stable on your end real soon! I've lost jobs before, but never had one go "up in smoke"...

    Best wishes!

I saw this on the news as it was happening, this was an intense fire!

Hopefully they get things figured out quickly.

I was there today.. believe it or not it's worst in person. The whole place looks like it was carpet bombed.

On a brighter note... my company will be rebuilding the facility and pressing forward. In the meantime we are all still on the payroll and will shortly be relocating to a smaller temporary facility nearby (if all goes well).

    Commence selling me stuff....

Yes, but not because of this. We are currently moving into our new location not too far away.... hope to be up and running soon. I have 45 containers of merchandise waiting in a storage yard to be offloaded and 100 more on the way from China.

WOW!! That's a huge fire! I've seen the China one here in Brazil but did not know about this one. I hope no one got hurt or killed and also that the company is able to recover that prejudice somehow. The insurance will probably cover the building and possibly even its contents but it is hard to recover the time needed to get back in business. Anyways, I wish you all the best, Scott!
