    From Prayer to Goldmember

My very first own marker was a stock Level 7 which got several upgrades by me over the years until not one of its original parts was left.
It ended in one of those highly reactive (RetroValve fitted running on 1110+psi) Mags that were feeded with paint over a warpfeed just to laser down some Cocker Boons at the field I played back then.

    And than it happend.
The X came out and I was addicted from day one. Simon did an awesome job on the design.
To get one I had to get rid of my good old shooter (parted it out). A Mag dream of dust black and chrome - gone. I still miss you babe
So I was able to get my first X (C&C gloss black) in the Summer of 2003 over AGD Europe.
I had lots of fun with it but after some time it had to go and I went on with guns that could be played at tournaments (Millennium Series). You know, Rof Cap, Ramping, etc, etc. All the **** that kills the fun and the sport.
After a long time I got back into Mags and soon wanted to get an X again. In 2012 I got the black dust C&C from Motodrom16 who got it from A-Tach-One.
Sadly it was not in a very good condition and had "Preacher" laser engraved on both sides.
So something had to be done to get it back to glory.
It took me some time to get the right idea about the new ano and find a good anodizer here in Europe who could do what I had in my mind.
I decided to get the X in Gold Tigerstripe like the Desert Eagle.50 I shot a while ago.
I just needed to get some nice parts from Luke to get on with the project.
So finally all the parts were sent to the anodizer (greytos.de) in April 2015. At this time I figured out that all the steel/stainless steel parts of the X, like screws, pins, air fittings and so on would ruin the look of the new anodized marker.
    So what to do...
Well, I went the extra mile (I keep this X forever) and got all of those parts 24K plated - including the powertube and the bolt.
So the new anodized parts arrived, the plated parts returned (they lost just the sear pin, so I had to sent them a second one) and I got a nice orange/gold LED screen and black/gold automags.org heat shrink to cover the steel braided hose.

Now as everything is assembled by myself, tested and is working like it should, I am one of the happiest guys around.

I know, the "Goldmember" Style is not for everyone, In fact I do not really like golden things at all - but this marker I adore.

    Thank you Tom (AGD)
Thank you Simon and the old Gang from AGDE
Thank you Greytos.de & the guy who did the plating (does not want to be mentioned)
Thank you Kila, for the Heat Shrink
Thank you Luke for the awesome Argo Trigger, the Trigger Switch and the AO Grip Panels
    Thank you automags.org

Some Pics of the marker as I got it and from the assembling (the ano colour does not come out in those pics because of bad light and a crappy cam):
