Slow response on emag tach one

My Tach One eMag will shoot in electronic mode but......I pulled the hall effect pick up out and need to get in right next to the magnet to fire and some times will not fire or seems to react slow. The read out does not say the battery is low on voltage. Any ideas?

What software is on there? Also make sure the magnet is in right. If you flip the trigger magnet, what does it do?

version 3.2 I will try the suggestion on the trigger magnet today. Also de-soldered from the plunger from the electronic board and hooked (touched) it directly to a battery it works great, so plunger is working....thanks

The HES is polarity conscious. The magnet must be positioned in the trigger so that the polarity is in the correct orientation.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
