Myself and the team founder both have slightly unhealthy Mag obsessions so I'm posting this here too. Anybody from the del-mar-va area that's looking for a November scenario close to home should check this out:

Team Defiance proudly announces our production of "The Last Great Defiance" Scenario at Pasadena Paintball Park in Curtis Bay MD on November 21, 2015.

Jeff of P3 will be General of the Red Team and Richard of Paintball Pandemic will be the General for Blue Team.

Preregistration link: http://www.paintballsportsandsupply....great-defiance Preregistration closes on November 15

There are two contests for this event:
1. Whichever team has the most preregistrations will have all flags set to their color at the beginning of the game, so get you friends and team mates to preregister.

2. After the event, Team Defiance is awarding a free day of play at P3 for the best video of the scenario. - Video footage must be from the scenario on November 21 at P3. - Video length must not exceed 3 minutes - Deadline for submission is Dec 21 - The winner will be determined by the number of Likes of the video on the Team Defiance Facebook page. - Details on submissions will be available shortly. - Please post any questions you have in this thread

Simplified Rules:
1. Standard paintball rules regarding hits, safety, etc all apply. This includes following the field rules regarding semi auto only, 280 fps field velocity limit and no use of First Strike rounds.

2. Arm band tape *MUST* be worn on both arms. Not having both arms taped will cause a referee to send you back the respawn point to be taped up.

3. If you encounter a boundary tape on the field, do *NOT* cross it unless your armband color *MATCHES* the boundary tape. There is a 100 foot radius exclusion zone around each of the respawn points, marked in team color, and a 50 foot radius around the Black Market, marked in yellow.

4. If you see any flag station, set it to your color to get points for your team. If you see a knock down target in the opposing team's exclusion zone, shoot and knock it down for points.

5. Pick up any props you see and return them to your respawn point.

6. If you are shot while carrying a prop, drop it immediately and head back to the respawn point or M.A.S.H. unit tent. Some objects are *NOT* props and will be marked accordingly, such as the Riot Shield and the Cameras, and do *NOT* get dropped on player elimination. Fluffy(our rediculous oversized riot shield) is a prop, and must be dropped.

A full list of rules can be found on the field's website if you really want to go in depth(pre-registration link takes you to the field website) This scenario was designed to be as much fun as it is mentally challenging. We've structured it to accommodate all levels of player and all interests in play style that we could cram into one event without over-complicating things. This event will appeal to you whether you fancy yourself a stealthy assassin, or like me you've accepted your role as the bull in a china shop, and own it by hulksmashing your way through the battle map. A lot of time and effort has been spent on pulling this event together, and we believe the production value will leave you hungry for more.

Hope to see you in a few weeks!
