got mine over the weekend. top notch as expected, and it feels even more tough than the prototype i have and still use (owing to the CF reinforcement, i'd imagine).

    yeah that is correct.
and the cf helps with the layer resolution. I like how it works

    Awesome!

Given the design of this part and its ability to snap onto the ULE body, what is the likelihood of producing a snap on sight rail similar to this design? Picatinny rail on the top and fits in place between the feed and the valve. I would especially like to see one that fits against the rails tightly to avoid the side to side wobble so common to metal sight rails on Classic bodies.

As a side note, I guess it would likely also work for Classic bodies if it fit a ULE body...maybe?

Are these still available? I finally broke that testing prototype (one of the front "arms" snapped when it got caught on one of the straps of my tube harness). I'm now down to one, and I'd like to pick up one or two more as backups (also just in case you stop making them at some point).

In other words, this has become a critical component of my satisfaction in paintball!

There's a bit of a wobble with the current measurements, maybe 5 degrees or so (rotationally around the radius of the body tube). I don't think it's enough to drastically affect the calibration of any sort of optic, given the usual inconsistency with spheres flying through the air. It also wouldn't affect windage or elevation much.

I thought it would be cool to do one that's a combined SC feed with picatinny rails on one side or each side of the body. The volume of plastic would be MUCH more than the current design though.

Interestingly enough, I've just sent him some zetamags to mock it up. And I've asked if we could integrate a tinny rail on the top for sight mounts.

With interest, I'm hopeful this can become a reality.

I'm up for it ,, been lookin at Mag Fed awfully hard , If I could Mag Feed a ULE Body ,,, I can't tell ya how good that would feel !!!

since were throwin ideas ,, what it you were able to mount this ( Mag adpt.) to one of the new Feedneck adapters ,,,, take your feedneck off ,,,, install Magazine adapter ,,, instant Mag Fed on our grand ole AutoMag chassis !!!!

I though about that when makig the request, but changing out mags is a more "violent" process than using 10rd tubes.
I'd worry that using just a feedneck for attach point would be too weak. Plus, if we do the sight rail on top, it just seems like too much riding on a small feedneck clamp.
