    Axe input psi

Got a axe with one of Simon's bodies. I realized that I only have shp regs. If I take the shims out it shout be at 900psi but I see max should be 800. Has anyone run over that with out problems?

Simon recommends an SLP, but standard will work too.

Its regulated down by the asa/reg before it gets to the gun,

OK wasn't sure if the 900psi from the shp could break anything

Pretty sure it wont but you can PM Simon (manike) in here https://www.automags.org/forums/member.php?612-manike

Or post a thread on inceptionforums.com and ask him there.

You should have a mid ranged tank, but a 800psi tank will work. An SHP, no i wouldn't chance it, it could blow the noid.

The gauges are not exactly accurate. They are +/- 100 psi if I'm not mistaken. Adjust the gun's reg to about 180 and set the velocity at the back.

A shp with all shims removed is around 850psi. At least my pro V2 is. As far as input pressures on anything. I prefer to run on the low side of functional with any pneumatic device. Closer you get to the max recommended the quicker you will see Oring problems due to pressure. Ie a mag running 1200psi input will generally show minor leaks quicker than one with a 800-850psi input.
