    Best ASA for sleeper

Hey fellas. Just curious which asa is best for a sleeper pneu build. I've seen cp direct mounts. Does it matter if it's the fat one or skinny one? Are there other ones you can use? Thx.

You can use a Bob Long Cam drive but they are hard to find and expensive if you mess up. The CP is the best option. The fatter ones have a degas hole, the skinny ones do not. Contact Tuna of Tunamart, as he should have some already modded.

how do you use a cam drive? doesn't it need a rail? I thought you can only use direct mount asa's. my preference would be to use a cam drive, my favorite.

Gear drives are the ones used as they are direct mount, cam drives require a rail for mounting...

that's what I thought. but I didn't want to discount the possibility that someone did some crazy mod to make it work with a cam drive

To a point, you can use anything, in a sleeper. You just will have more complicated plumbing. That is why the direct mount is easier. Direct mounts are readily available, plenty of meat on them, an already established history of use.

And i will say this, Tuna should have some already modded direct mounts for sleepers. Now if you want something unique and different, search around and see what you can come up with
