    10 Year old Emag

Well i pulled it out dusted it off and cleaned it out and put it back together and am having issues.
Main issue wont fire in ether RT or E mode.
no pressure on the trigger in RT mode.
Next there is air leaking out of the back of the valve
I assume i need to replace all the o-rings little work around or help would be great.
    Thanks
    J

sounds like it's time for a valve rebuild. you'll want a rt kit if you have a level 7 bolt, or an x-valve kit if you have a level 10 bolt. for either kit, you'll need to also get at least one quad on/off o-ring, and a new spring if you get the x-valve kit (as it doesn't come with one).

So i found a lvl 10 bolt kit (doing it might as well get the latest)
But cant find an X-valve rebuild kit would i have to get a whole new valve? or is it buried somewhere i didnt see

it's pretty simple to identify the valves...they are all clearly labeled. an emag valve will have "emag" on it, and x-valve will have an "X" (or x-valve, for older versions), etc. all of the reactive valves function the same; the difference is the lasering and the materials used (some have stainless steel valve bodies, others, like the x-valve, have aluminum bodies).

thank you cyco-dude. verified it is not an x-valve. i'll have to get the emag valve kit
let you know how the rebuild goes

if you have a level 7 bolt, i would get an rt classic kit with a couple extra quad o-rings. if you have a level 10 bolt, i would get an x-valve kit, couple extra quad o-rings and a gold spring. pm tunaman, he'll get you set up.

    Send it to Tuna.

    Best thing to do.

Have him go thru it and fix/tweak everything.
