Interesting
What type of velocity? The issue is going to be the "airsoft" quotient. (No mark means hit didn't count)
They seem to be bragging that the round has 80% less impact energy at 15ft than a traditional paintball.
I'm looking at the velocity #'s and seeing that a traditional paintball loses ~15% of its velocity by 15ft. Their round loses ~33% of its velocity by 15ft.
That's not okay.
Oh, paintballs with their own barrel porting. I don't see this working at all.
those are made from a horrible matterial lol
I wonder how it works with markers with eyes.
he used a soft 3d printable material, there aren't a lot of choices for that right now but if he gets a mold made he could have them molded with whatever durometer he wanted. just guessing these are maybe 40A and I think reball material is about a 60A but since these are like a wiffle ball they could be made a bit harder.
I got a couple to test and they seem to work fine with eyes. one guy said he had a little trouble though. the problem is I only have 2 of them so it's hard to tell. eventually someone will get a hopper full and we will see.
Interesting
if anyone is interested Atomic Pickle posted a video comparing them to paintballs and reballs vs drywall. no damage, they didn't seem to leave any mark on my plaster walls at home either.

no reason for eyes anyway , no ball breaks
Some guns have eyes (PE, SP/Luxe, Dye, Empire/GI, Bob Longg, etc) that youcould turn them off, it can effect things like RoF (which could be set to a lower RoF than with eyes to prevent possible ball breaks because of a problem), and this shouldn't for just one type of gun (mechanical) but for all.
Also, to help diagnose guns indoors(where low impact will be useful to those that don't have yards or soace to shoot paint), having the eyes
on best helps finding a possible problem in the gun. Yes, a L10 gun doesn't break paint, yet not every gun has that yet.
