I think maybe XMT meant the type of front you want on the body? ULE, extended ULE, RT or Minimag fronts?

XMT, I'd like to buy one. 2 piece CF, regular ULE style for me.

    Thanks.

If that's what he meant, damn...... that's a tough one....... I've always liked the rt and minimag style bodies...... automag and ule are nice too, but I like minimag and rt style of body better....... hmmm......I need a day or two to think about this.

As seen in the pic of XMT's original post on the fisrt page, at the bottom is the two-(carbon fiber)-piece design. I believe there were 4 front options - RT, Minimag, Automag and ULE/Emag/RT Pro.

A one-(carbon fiber)-piece is exactly that with a vertical feedneck attached to the top which is the design shown on top. Please see the following for further examples:
    1st entry in -*-*-January-2018-MOTM-Contest-*-*-OPEN-Class-Poll
    2nd entry in -*-*-October-2017-MOTM-Contest-*-*-OPEN-Class-Poll
(You'll notice the first submission also with a carbon fiber back half and ULE front which was not XMT but rather RPG or WarpedMephisto.)

Thanks for the clarification, now that I've mulled over it. I'm interested in the one with an rt front.

bodies will be sanded carbon fiber (gloss shown) with choice of tip. ULE, RT or Minimag. The aluminum part will be anodized black. feedneck and detents not included

Yep, mark me for a 2-pc with all the fronts! Sanded definitely looks better to me - stands out more without all that gloss. Indifferent about the center ano because it'll get re-ano'd later anyhow. Then I'll just wait for another ULE Minimag run and save half my money compared to the going rate!

I believe the sanded ones are the matte finish.

It’s a valid question though, he did do a one-off Exile RT classic body.

I assume no but figure I will check. My aluminum Minimag body has this annoying ping when fired, do these CF bodies have that same ping? I suspect with the Aluminum bodies it is just a by-product of all that light metal hanging off the front.

I had an RT body I sent to Luke to cut the cheese grater off before I had it anodized dust black.

Crush my dreams. Well, thanks for clarifying and it’s good to know the back story. It’s a cool piece none the less.

Crush my dreams as far as the possibility of a front other than the three offered considering Luke did it and not XMT.

Why dont you ask Luke if he will cut the front ?

Well, when you have it in hand...

I think I'd be in for a gloss one with all the fronts.
