    ADG 3D draw

    Hello,

I'd like to try a 3D printing of a rail and other parts in a second time.

Is someone have file in stl, stp, step or for autocad ?

Thank You by advance from France.

You might want to start by tracing the source of the one in this active AO BST post lots-of-misc-parts. Also Google Daniel Auer MicroMods. The guy that printed a Z-Grip might be another source.

    printed rails*
I have been printing them for what 7 years now.
I use them personally when I want to.
ive designed all my own or used a friends design to get me going.

-problem with printed rails even the ones that people have sold to the public,
IS THAT the plastic that contain the zlock pin in the back of the valve,
so that when you have the marker under air pressure the back half doesn't unscrew when you are adjusting the velocity and go shooting into your face and potentially killing you or harming others.
-3D printed rails will deflect and allow this to happen.
-aluminum rails make it so this doesn't happen.
-I have a design that stops this. but its on the back burner.
-personal use is different than selling one to someone you printed. I wouldn't sell a printed rail that didn't have safeties in place( and using a CERTAIN Printed PLASTIC based material will not stop the deflection).
-I have sent out rails to buddies to check out, and have had a conversation on the safety of operating the marker with a printed rail. they have listened and done very well.

on the subject of getting files. not many will give you files.
if I were you I would start with a rail and take dims off it.
print tests for fitment, until you get a working base. then design whatever you want around the base you just created.
that's how I started, before I got my hands on spec files.

I can print with carbon fiber 3d printer, so no safety problem.

it will still deflect. carbon fiber printers don't print just pure carbon fiber.
been doing this for 18+ years now

oh and just for reference. all my printers can print carbon fiber materials. that's the reason I say this.
im not trying to be a dick. just want people to be safe.

When I would have done the drawing, could you tell me if the specifications are correct. I will try classic plastic at first
