    SL-68 II Custom Build

I know this isn't normally the place to show off Tippmanns, but an SL-68 II was my first marker back in '93. I sold it to a friend's dad when I was in university, and regretted it. So when the opportunity came to get another one, I jumped on it.

actually just sent it off for Duracoat.
my daughter looked through the available colors and chose Bronx Rose. So I'm going to have my first pink marker.

    I totally understand.
The pink hawaiian shirts are our team jerseys and I let my daughters pick the color for the marker. So I'm thrilled with it and it's definitely a statement on the field, but it's also not for everyone.

No, we need yet another black gun in paintball...

I love the mods, SL-2s don't get any love now, probably cause Tippmann stopped any developments that would help it contend with other Nelson based guns. So seeing an old dog learn some new tricks is awesome. Plus, the colour means it stands out. Not so much for the "look at me" aspect, but 'look at this, this is a SL-2 that is not like the others'.

Though i had a SL-2 myself. I some how lost it. Don't know where, but i had a 47/3k tank on it, a revy and some sort of chrome barrel in it. Heavy as all hell but i ran it at night with only the hopper, nothing else. I rated as the most expense SL-2 in existence back in 2003ish, lol.
