How about an abandoned coal mine?
lots of dark hallways, cross cuts, mounds, and if you have actually been in one, kind of spooky when quiet.
and to copy a famous real battlefield- iwo Jima (of course I wouldn't play in the actual place in reverence to those who gave their lives there, but a place like it), caves, a mountain to assault, cliffs, etc.

the mall of america with all the people vacated... and the floor ground down for a rougher surface for more grip
each store could be an individual bunker
and omg... the amusment park in there could be a field by itself... drive-by shootings with an e-mag on full auto on the roller coaster lololol
... with masks on of course

Along the lines of what Wickster was talking about...there's a place that my friends and I like to play at that used to be an ironworks (I think). It's got all kinds of cement buildings and walls and stuff. One reminds us of the lobby from the Matrix, three corridors, doorways connecting them...the outer corridors have windows, a second floor, a basement. There's another we deemed "the castle" because it's such a beast for defending...one game 6 of us held off 13 opponents long enough for our teammates to get the flag back (a ballsy storming of "the lobby", as the story goes). It's also got a very long and very dark tunnel...it's the best way to flank the other team but if your get caught in there, there's nowhere to hide, hehe. There's a gigantic ridge that is boatloads of fun to defend, especially when you're outnumbered. The whole facility is right along the river and every so often you'll have some player so desperate to surprise the other team that he will walk up the river through the shallower parts.
you'd breath in so much coal crap that you'd proabably pass out after the first gameOriginally posted by Wickster

i think a super-market would be a cool place. bury yourself in paper towels and shoot people as they walk by.
BTW. descriptions of your guys' schools makes me realize how crappy mine is

MOUT (Urban fighting) site at Ft. Hood!
anything that had a large complex of rooms...
fighting room to room is rediculously fun
and different levels...
i always think of 1st person shooter video games like Halo(multi-player mode especially)
imagine 4 levels of catwalks about 30 yards apart facing each other
people shooting at you from below and above
(drools)
we used to play in an abandoned building(i know i shouldn't be advocating this...it wasn't the safest idea)
it 2 floors, the second floor was a room for half of it and the rest of it opened up to the floor below and had a catwalk running down the center
there were big holes in the walls you could shoot through
man it was fun
i'd really love to open up an insured field like that
regular indoor fields bore me to death
i like feeling like i'm somewhere other than an open, sand floored room full of balloons and/or black sewer pipe

soo many places i pass by here in japan that would be a great place... japanese malls are very diffrent than american mall and would be much more fun than american mall to play in and the iwo jima comment i have been there and the japanese and american who meet there have a great respect for each other and the whole time i was going up the mountain i was thinking that paintball would be great here (btw the ww2 bunkers are still standing but we were not allowed to go into them by order of our commanding officer)

I always thought a Super Walmart would be a great place to play paintball in. All the aisles to run around in. The firniture, the food, the counters and the clothes. And of course, you would have to go to bedding. Could make a pillow bunker 10 feet off the ground, and BE UNSTOPPABLE!!! HAHAHAHAHA (evil laugh)
or we could do it in the exchange here on base and thanks for pulling this old thread back up dana
(btw no you own bob you could never own me)
