WoW...You couldn't tell from the first vid due to it being so dark but he's also made a trigger out of the acrylic (I'm guessing that's what it is).

God I hate him even more Dude's got some mad skillz!!!

a manifold like this but made out of aluminum and sized to an Intelliframe was on ebay a year or so back. I lost out at something like $150.00. I forget how high it went.

He sold another prototype here for $100 a month or two ago.

          I'm sad I missed it.

It was done by ZapTheMad here on AO. He posted stuff about it almost a year ago.

Seeing this again makes me want to buy some acrylic and have some fun.

Wow, it has been a year! Call me ZaptheSLOW! I have way more tinkering time lately since I got laid off. I have too many projects and can't seem to finish one before I need to start another project just to use on the last one I started! More tooling projects than anything. Plates, jigs, clamps, attachments, all custom made, to do exactly what I want. So much more to it than just getting a machine and working it! Sometimes I just sit there for hours staring at my parts thinking of how to do it better. I've been working on my mill the last couple weeks trying to get some machine vibration under control. I yoinked my back, on a jug of milk of all things, so that's been on hold. I was finally able to finish balancing my pulleys this morning.

I'm going to DC motor conversions on my equipment. AC motors just vibrate too much on my hobby machines. I have 2 prototype frames that are near completion. Well, mechanically complete, not "finished" (I can't anno yet). I will probly put up for sale cheap in the near future to fund that project.

Good news is... I might offer this mod as a service! Along with complete frames of course. I could use some spare cash for sure! Figured I might as well try this self employment stuff out since I have the time. I have an Angel frame set up in different way and it's more cleanly done. I'll show it off once I can mock up the parts. I can do this to practically any frame from any gun to fit a Mag. I'm hoping to make my own parts this time instead of using MPA/MSV internals. I want to use the largest piston possible to bring the operating pressure down. Lower pressure = lighter trigger!

More coming soon! Clear pneu mods and maybe some clear foregrips. A sweet internal LPR mod allowing most any ASA. More pneu-manifolds too! Yes, I read all the PM's even if I don't respond. When I'm ready to make the commitment I will handle them all. I just need to finish my tooling so I can do my work more timely. It's so much more work setting parts up in the the machine. The actual machining is the easy part! Once I get it down and I'm confident that I can whip out work in minimum time then I will run with it. Pricing will basically be time and materials and I want to make sure I can deliver a fair price. I don't want to get into one of those "lynch mob" situations that I've seen in the past around here. I want smiles on your ugly mugs! I don't have any plans for production type runs. Everything is one off custom and I would like to keep it that way for now.

My machine shop is open to simple milling/turning for now! Nothing too fancy as I have no CNC gear. If you need a hunk of metal lopped off then I can help and I work cheap. I also make grip panels! I don't know how many of you remember when I did grips. I'm back in business! My grips are acrylic. Various colors in clears and solids including pearl and mirror. I can make them for any frame. I mill out pockets to fit batteries and such. I started out doing grips for electro Spyders a few years ago. I've done grips for most of the top end Spyders out there as well as many other frames. I had to give it up at the time due to a new baby and heavy OT at work. But now I'm sitting around on my *** looking for ways to turn my hobby into cash!

Zap, is milling for a freak inserts in an aluminum barrel beyond your capabilities/tooling? And/or milling a new aluminum freak back to fit an old Line SI Bushmaster? It should only require a lathe. Doc's Machine thread library has pics of a Bushmaster barrel if you'd like to look at it first.

And just up in Sac??? Saweeeeeeet!!! sorry to hear of the lay off... I guess I'll be the first to welcome you to the masses that be the UnEmployed.

Anyway... If I make up some cardboard panels for some grips I'd like made and mail em up to ya, you think you can copy them over into acrylic? I'm sure you can, just wanted to put it out there as I may have some stuff heading your way when I get the chance.

That drop-in pneu-manifold is nice. Let us know if it does ever go into production. I know I'd be interested.

My lathe thru hole is a hair too small for boring barrels. However, I am looking at ways to increase the capacity on my machine for working on barrels. One of the things I would like to do is bore barrels for inserts as well as re-machine them to fit other guns. One of these days...

I make my grips from templates. A simple paper template would be fine but you need to be very careful of hole placement or things wont line up. I use 1/4" acrylic sheet for my templates and bolt grips to them for finishing on the router. Transferring a paper template for my use is easy enough. The great thing is once I have a template I can easily replicate a set of grips. I also use the templates for locating pockets for batteries and noids. I usually have a person send me their frame for fitting (if I don't already have a template) and the paper template is a great idea! The only down side is that if your template is off, then my grips will be off too. So spend a little extra time making sure it is perfect.

Even then photocopiers aren't 100% accurate

To get a exact fit. Send him your grip.
