I say whoever has an EZ-up should bring them. We can call the village of pop-ups Tom-Town.

so far sounding like a bunch of 10X10s will make up the whole. Going to look like a hippy commune or a twisted craft show out there.

I'm not "camping" per say but I am bringing a 10X10 pop up and a couple of fold out tables for the cause. I might be able to bring a generator from work so long as it is safe and it gets back home with me.

We should be there early Friday. What time is good? Will there be a banner up by then so we can find Tom Town?

If anyone is unable to find the staging/camping area just go to the Museum and ask someone there. They will direct you to the camp/stage spot.

I plan on being there between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. bringing my pop up canopy, maybe a small table, depends on trunk space.

I just hope we can park close enough to unload and then move the vehicle to the main parking lot. I really don't want to make a bunch of trips back and forth.

Not likely. They typically don't like vehicles on the grass over there because of the septic field.

Or perhaps Kaye-Town. Which would make us, I suppose, the Kaye-Town Mafia.

    LOL
No. They have it marked off, so nobody camps on it. But, they keep vehicles off the grass to prevent that one idiot from destroying the septic field and ruining the weekend for everyone.

The ******* forecast will probably change a few more times in the next two days. Chicago ******* during Construction (the season that isn't Winter), is pretty unpredictable.

Speaking of Construction, if you are planning on taking I-55 South to Arsenal Rd. to get to CPX, don't. Avoid that stretch. The bridges are under construction and it goes down to a single lane there. It'll be really nice for LL8, through.
