    PumpHaus Designs Barrel Questions

    Hello AO...

Wanted to stop by and introduce ourselves. PHD is a pump oriented company that produces items for the pump market. We sold out of our first production run of CCM hitman pump plates and just produced a .681 total control bore barrel for the Phantom platform. Our next barrel project will be with AC threads and was wondering if the AO community in general uses insert compatible barrels or would you prefer a barrel with a .681 total control bore?

We took the stock Phantom barrel and made it with a .681 total control bore, incorporated the stock muzzle break but added 30 degree reverse porting to reduce the sound signature, and kept porting to just the muzzle break to help with shot efficiency. What's your thoughts?

Thanks to Slim for the pic!

I prefer barrels to use freak inserts. I see a lot of paint that would roll through a .681

    I think its regional .

    Mostly .685 .687 .689 here,mostly .687 .

You wont do anything but spray with a .681 .

Cant go wrong with multiple bores, does seem to vary .

It's the same here with the bore sizes. Most of the paint I use requires at least a 0.687 or larger bore to prevent mashing the paint into the barrel.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I think that would need to be two separate hardlines.
