my video of the apex barrel and reveiw

    My video:

I bought this barrel after Simon said on a couple of forums that it worked . I bought it online as soon as I saw one was available. I bought an ac/timmy threaded barrel but the barrel i recieve was not what the packaging said it was. I beleive i recieved an a5 barrel in a ac/timmy package. Talked to the online dealer and they were curdious and prompt to direct me to the maufacturer and also email the manufacturer for me. I call Bt paintball and they said to send it in and they would give me a proper threaded barrel. I sent it in and recieved it very quickly; so I like the company so far even though there was a mistake at the factory. By the way it is made in tawain.

I like it! It works; it shoots around trees and creates the "flatline effect".

Watch the video and enjoy and don't buy one because i want to be the only one on the field that has this advantage.

    Nice video.

Should of put someting behind the tree to see if you marked it.

Also, someting to shoot over (a lay down?)

Either way, Nice vid, but next time, get a mask on

I stuck one in my pocket for a scenario game and crawled around, busted it out when I needed it... 05 dragon timmy + apex = 16bps of floating balls of dewm at enemy. HAHA. Just when they thought they couldn't be shot... :P

i liked it and might pick one up to try it...

you hsould make another vid of it shooting really fast and see if it has a differnet effect. also see if you can go over a bunker. that would really piss people off because then they really couldnt hide annywhere... lol

wow i dont belive that it works as good as it shows.

              thats preaty neat.

i thought that it was going to be an other hammerhead barrel but now i can see it wont be

that would be sweet for woods.

I will get a mask on next time. I'll try to get a vid of it going over some type of obstruction.

I just went out in the back yard and played around.

I like my excal. It does fluctate in velocity though; probably need to clean the reg or something. My current setup is a little heavy too.

Maybe i'll try in on on eof my mags.

they run around $119 on internet retail sites.

the scm is probibly set too low. or the dwell is low.

don't think it has a soda can mod. I think it is an 02 excal. (not exactly sure) I bought it used last fall havn't really changed anything but the debounce setting. What is the dwell supposed to be set at? I'll look up the w.a.s. instruction online to find out how to reset the dwell. Thanks

Nice vid... I had the opportunity to try this barrel out at IAO and it really does do exactly what Richter's vid shows. I am thinking about getting on myself... now if i could get it in an 18" length

After hearing about these at the IAO I had to walk over and see Ben Tippman to see what it was all about. I am normally the first to call "BS" on many new products but this thing rocks !! My wife played with one in pittsburg and said she got four eliminations only because of the barrel. The cool thing that should be shown on the next video is "snake hunting" .Turn the barrel upside down and it will dive over a snake or laydown. The barrel looks kinda ugly on my SFL but screw it... It shoots where no barrel has shot before..

When you put it on "flatline effect", it seems to work no better than a flatline. The flatline barrel was innacurate as hell and so is this. On the curve modes it was fine. Even on regular mode, the accuracy didn't seem that great. It didn't fix the problem of the flatline. You can see when he's shooting in "flatline effect", the balls fly all over the place. Some go upwards some go sideways, but very little went straight.

It quite a cool barrel. I also got to shoot it at IAO. The flatline effect is kinda cool. The balls sail out into the great beyond.
