DIY Carbon Fiber Foregrip

If you’re like me and dislike how skinny all the current carbon fiber foregrip options are, then I invite you to make your own.



This works perfectly with any of the old RT/RT Pro and currently offered AGD foregrips. The outer diameter of the foregrip shaft is the same as the inner diameter of this carbon fiber tubing (currently on sale). Mine is a tight enough fit that nothing else is required, but if you want a little added security you can either add the tiniest bit of adhesive on the inside of the carbon fiber tubing or use a bolt and washer in the bottom of the foregrip to hold it in.

Cut the carbon fiber tube to 3” then enjoy.

Just a fine toothed blade for a saw, jigsaw or Dremel. I just had them cut it so I knew it would turn out right.

Yes, 3” even. With that, there is about 1/16” overhang, which is not an issue for me as I plan to chop off about 80% of the aluminum handle that goes inside the carbon fiber tube for a little more weight savings.
