    Successful Xvalve reanno

    Mario pulled it off..

Saved the zlock pin, aligns the exact same way and works perfectly!

I guess I know where I'm sending an xvalve along with some mag parts to.

Nice, but what's been the main hinderance? Is it something beyond masking off the threads, mating surfaces and z-lock pin I never understood?

If anyone would know the reason people ruin Xvalves trying to re-anno them Tuna would.

AGD products are all pretty much built to very stringent tolerances. When the valve is stripped if it sits in the acid bath (I believe) too long some of the aluminum is "eaten away" possibly making the valve out of spec. Thie is where the fear comes in and why a raw valve is considered by some to be the only option.
    ......You know you want one!!
