Nothing for nothing , I also thought that it would be cool to have a rail that sits on top to the rear. But lets face it, it is what it is --- But thats not so bad. I put sights on EVERYTHING, and now looking at what they are offering I'd say that the front rail is now usable for this purpose. Magnified scopes are not applicable to paintball, but red dots are. And in this case, you can very easily mount almost any kind of popular red dot sold on the forward rail. Trust me -- it may not look uber-cool, but it will be more functional sitting farther forward. Placing the red dot up front in the "scout position" will allow you greater peripheral view of the area where you're scanning. I say thanks AGD. -- At least they tried to accommodate, and it'll work just fine.

I used to think the same thing about scopes.

After playing scenario and big games I have changed my mind. It would be nice to have something like a scope or binoculars so you do not need to have a standoff just because you cannot tell who is on what team.

    The Tac-One Warp looks awesome.

Yeah -- I agree, thats why I carry a compact 10x scope in my cargo pockets of my BDU's. I used to have it mounted to the TacOne but after taking several hits to the scope I realized it was not worth keeping it exposed to shots. Red dots take hits better -- less to go wrong.

Thumbs down Picture precisely proves poo-pooers' point.

Is that not the very reason TK angled the rear ones for a clear view around the center feed?
Will AOers have to agonize another two year wait for a less slapdash design?

    um... no...

my point was that the feed DOES NOT BLOCK the view, it works great to have a red dot on the left side.

You can't be serious. Would you mind taking a no-flash picture from directly behind the sight so we can see through it?

    with both eyes open,
red dots will function with the front lens cap closed...

the feed neck may appear to block the lower part of the lens
but it prolly still puts the reddot of death [TM] out there

And I thought I was done with upgrades after just purchasing a ULE warp body, warp feed, xvalve and intelliframe. I guess it's time for the scenario route with a mag based off of this body. It's nice to know AGD is back in the saddle again.

Looks like the 90 degree adapter blocks both the lower and left sides. Any blind spot in the sight picture would be a distraction IMHO.

just mount sven's gun on the back of a jeep, on a tank, or in a bunker. its an e-tac so it would make a great turret, especially if he got x-mod.

congrats on making a BA tac-mag man. its great.

ok just weighed my mag... its only 7lb, it used to be 12lb but i juse a remote now lol.
The 90deg does slightly block the left and lower side of the site but (for those old schoolers) if you are used to looking around a powerfeed, the 90deg blocks much less then the old powerfeeds did. also there is plenty of room to mount a sight center or on all 3 rails.

I havent looked around lately, how is the xmod coming?

kinda limiting not having a rail inline with the side port

i could see a whole lot of cool mod possibilities with a side mounted stick mag /qbow
